The Claim

Origin

What Science Says
Current evidence, including randomized controlled trials, does not support a significant effect of DHEA on weight loss. A 2012 meta-analysis found no substantial impact on body weight or fat composition. The effects observed in studies are generally small and not consistent across populations.
